Rodney Fisher, who has been going to Our Shed for two years, made the key over the course of several weeks with help from tutor Wayne Morris. His brother, Rob Fisher who works for Interchange Loddon Mallee Region, says it is in keeping with the event’s theme of breaking down barriers and opening doors. “It is all about experiencing what others take for granted” he said. “It gives people like Rodney self-worth so they can say I can if I want to; they have the tools and the opportunity to try things and have a go.” The International Day of People With Disability Community Fest is in Hargreaves Mall on Tuesday, December 3.
